I was holding a precious, tiny baby in my arms, marveling at how special he was. Now that tiny little baby is 11 months old, and my arms get tired after holding him for only a few minutes! I can't believe how much our little guy has grown. I still marvel at how special he is, and I am constantly amazed at how fast he learns. Here is a glimpse of what he's been up to this past month.

Dax's first animal noise came out of the blue one night when we were reading an animal book. Any guesses? That's right, he is a cock-a-doodle-doin' rooster!

Dax took his first independent steps at about 10 months, but now he is a walking fool! He gets braver every day, and can now walk about 20 feet without falling (sometimes).

He gives the best kisses...ever! He opens his mouth wide and says "aaahhh" while giving you the best slobbery kiss!

His version of "tickle tickle" sounds like this "teegoe teegoe teegoe." Pretty cute!

Dax loves music and has the sweetest moves around. Whenever he hears music he starts bouncing up and down, side to side, or starts banging on whatever is around.

He watches us very carefully and tries to do and say what we do.

Dax Language: choo choo is "coo coo"-- dada is now "da"-- clock is "gock"-- kitty cat is "ku ku" -- dog is "do" -- something he isn't supposed to touch is "ca ca"--

Dax loves to play with phones. He puts them up to his ear and says his own version of "hello."

He loves yogurt, baby cheetoh puff thingies, ravioli, quesadillas, blueberries, raspberries, cantaloupe, pears, and anything he can feed himself.

When Dax eats, he says "num num num num." Probably my fault!

He loves to help dad with his tools and he loves to sweep the floor and vacuum.

When he plays with cars or trucks and when he walks he says "go go go."

Dax loves to drop things on the floor and say "uh oh." Mommy and Daddy sure do love that game!

Reading a book to Dax can calm any tears or tantrums. If he is upset, all you have to do is say "Let's read a book!" and he perks right up! He loves to cuddle up and read a book with mom or dad.

This kid has the funniest expressions!
We don't let him touch the tree, so he is looking at me like "Is this okay?"
Our attempt at some family photos! (Thanks Doug)

Josh took Dax on his first four wheeler ride when we were in Delta for Thanksgiving.
He loved it!

Love the little moments of Dax getting older. We attempt at not letting Jamison touch the tree...or the manger, or the "rip easy" christmas books, presents, table, toilet...did all of that come out of my mouth? ha ha ha-He laughs at the word "No"-I do try redirecting??? Your family is so cute and I hope you are enjoying the holiday cheer.

He is so cute, and what sweet things to say! It is so fun to watch them grow, but it does go by awful fast doesn't it?
